Ugadi will be on April 1st 2022 and it marks the beginning of a new lunar calendar. It is observed as the new year in the southern states of India. The Telugu states mark this day by making a dish that captures six different tastes spice, salt, sweet, bitter and two types of sour as a symbol to accept all of the different things life may bring our way as we enter this new cycle.
We are still working on the products for this festival but as always, you can expect nuance and grace as we curate the content to draw from the history and traditions of the festival but also offer a modern take on how it can be celebrated and a part of our now every day.
